Teenager escapes jail term after admitting dangerous driving

-

A teenager who smashed into a car carrying three children, causing his own car to overturn, has escaped a jail term.

Christopher Seabourne, 19, of Trevenna in the village of Mark near Highbridge admitted dangerous driving during an appearance at Taunton Crown Court on Friday.

He was given a 12 month suspended sentence and ordered to undertake 200 hours of unpaid work. The teenager has also been disqualified from driving for three years by the judge.

The judgement follows a crash on the A39 between Cannington and Bridgwater last year.
