Jazz In the Park attracts crowds of music lovers to Burnham-On-Sea

Hundreds of jazz fans gathered in Burnham-On-Sea’s Manor Gardens on Sunday, September 4 for the town’s annual Jazz In The Park event.

The popular event is organised by CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society, which holds three to four free events a year for the benefit of people in both towns.

Sunday’s event saw jazz bands from across the region performing in front of large crowds (pictured above), which included Burnham’s Mayor Eric Gill and hundreds of residents and holidaymakers.

The weather stayed warm and dry for the early part of the afternoon, although rain later in the day put a dampener on the festivities.

Other events organised by CADS include Folk In The Park in June and Picnic In the Park in July.
