Sanders Garden World Pet and Centre names bosses who will run the centre

-

A team of animal experts is being drafted in to manage Sanders Garden World’s new Pet and Aquatic Centre, which is set to open in March.

Philip Churchill will be managing the aquatic side of the centre and has also designed the layout of it.

The 29-year-old previously worked in a similar role at Cadbury Garden and Leisure in Congresbury.

And Colin Fountain, 59, the former General Manager of the Cotswold Wildlife Park, will be overseeing the mammals, birds and reptiles at the new centre.

Pauline Kidner, founder of Secret World wildlife rescue centre, will officially open the centre – which will sell rabbits, hamsters, mice, reptiles and tropical, marine and cold water fish – on Saturday March 11th at 10am.

Peter Burks, Managing Director of Sanders Garden World, said: “The launch day should be great fun. As well as Pauline attending with some of her furry friends, we have invited the Mayor of Weston to help with the opening and there will also be fun competitions taking place. There will be a wide range of all creatures great and small on sale at the site.”
