Two £100,000 winning lotto tickets bought at Burnham’s Tesco store

-

Two mystery Burnham-On-Sea residents have each scooped over £100,000 on the National Lottery after buying tickets at a supermarket in the town.

The winning tickets were bought from the cigarette kiosk at the entrance to Burnham’s Tesco store over the past three years.

While the supermarket is staying tight-lipped about the winners’ identities, honouring their requests to remain anonymous, it has placed two posters near the entrance (pictured) to promote the sale of the tickets.

These state that the winning tickets, worth £100,000+, were bought from the “lucky store”.

A Tesco spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the two tickets were purchased in 2007 and 2008.

Burnham-On-Sea.com reported here in 2006 how five members of a Burnham family syndicate won a share of a £3.9 million lotto jackpot.
