Hundreds of pounds was raised for a Burnham-On-Sea charity during a weekend of fundraising at a holiday park in Brean.

Northam Farm in South Road, Brean held the popular annual event, attended by scores of visitors.

Over £680 was raised for Burnham-based rescue hovercraft charity BARB Search & Rescue during the two days.

The park’s owner, David Scott, said: “We’re always happy to support this local charity with the super work they do in our area.”

A BARB spokesman added: “We are very grateful for the backing of Northam Farm, who have been a good supporter of BARB over the years, helping to raise funds towards the cost of training and equipment.”

The event included a number of fun family activities and a hog roast with all proceeds going to the charity.
