A motorist was taken to hospital on Friday (June 15th) following an accident involving five cars on the M5 at Burnham-On-Sea.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the northbound carriageway between Burnham and Weston at 1.30pm.
“Although five cars were involved, the damage was fortunately relatively minor and the vehicles were moved onto the hard shoulder,” a police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
One person was taken to Weston General Hospital by ambulance with injuries that were not understood to be serious.
