Victorian-themed circus show comes to Brean Leisure Park

-

A Victorian-themed circus show has arrived at Brean Leisure Park, near Burnham-On-Sea, and is set to entertain holidaymakers throughout the summer season.

The Voltini Sideshow is taking place in a darkened Victorian-style tent near the entrance to the leisure park.

“The world’s funniest electric show is performed exactly as it would have been in Victorian times,” Mike Barsby of Brean Leisure Park’s Marketing and Promotions department told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The show is brought to you by the master of lightning, Professor Voltini, and the audience is called into the show by a traditional barker outside the tent.”

“The crowds will also be entertained by Madame Electra, who defies death in an electric chair!”

“See the impossible made possible as Electra withstands 27,000 volts passing through her body!”

The ‘Great Voltini’ first came to the attention of the public in July 2002 when he appeared on the Graham Norton Show where his act included lighting a petrol-soaked fire torch held in Graham’s hand with sparks flying from his fingers.

Performances are taking place hourly from 12pm-5pm every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday until August 24th.
