Fifty four runners from across the South West took part in a 5km race on Burnham seafront on Thursday evening (July 2nd).
Despite high summer temperatures generating challenging running conditions, the event was well supported by athletes and spectators.
First home in a fast time of 17 minutes and 20 seconds was Daniel Randell from Bristol & West Athletics Club, who is pictured here with second-placed Stuart Hancock, from Clevedon AC, who finished in a time of 17 minutes and 42 seconds.
The monthly seafront runs are organised by Burnham Swim and Sports Academy with the backing of Burnham Harriers Running Club.
A further run is also scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 6th.
