Beach visitors and seafront walkers in Burnham-On-Sea have a new venue to buy snacks following the launch of a new business on Saturday (March 24th).
Beach’s Sandwich Bar has opened next to Sunspot Amusements on Burnham’s Esplanade.
The new business is being run by Lisa Johnson and Amanda Nevile, both from Bristol.
“We have visited Burnham many times over the years and we’ve always found it strange that there’s nowhere to grab a takeaway sandwich and cake right here on the seafront,” Amanda told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“That’s one of the reasons behind our opening the new sandwich bar, which is ideally located to provide freshly-made cakes and sandwiches throughout the summer season. We’ve worked throughout the winter to get the business in a position to open and are looking foward to a busy first season.”
