Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove holds community information day

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove Gardens hosted an array of guest speakers and stalls on Saturday (September 6th) when it held a Community Day.

Visitors were able to pick up gardening tips, security advice, see artwork and hear about how to help groups in the town.

There were workshops on heritage, conservation and listed buildings while the RNLI gave out sea safety advice.

Burnham Police were also offering crime prevention advice, and there was also information about neighbourhood planning (right) plus a display by The Friends of Marine Cove.

Berrow author Linda Bond was also in the gardens reading her new book The Marine Cove Princess, featured here.
