Missing boy found at Brean by police and local agencies

-

Burnham police have praised the work of partner agencies after a boy went missing in Brean this week.

On Monday (September 29th) a five year old boy went missing as his family were taking a walk through Brean.

Thanks to local police working closely with HM Coastguard, the local beach warden, Sedgemoor District Council’s CCTV unit and the village’s Radio Link members, the child was quickly found safe and well.

Sergeant Ian Kennett told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This is an example of partnership working at its best. We were immediately informed of the incident via Radio Link and quickly had other partner agencies working tirelessly to help find the missing boy.”

The boy was staying locally with his family at a Brean holiday park.
