Beachwardens appeal for help in tracing home of washed-up buoy

-

This large buoy has been washed up on the beach at Brean this week, prompting an appeal from the beachwarden for more information.

The orange buoy, which is around two metres wide, was washed ashore on the rocks at high tide.

Despite making several enquiries, the beachwardens have been unable to track its owner or normal location.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who knows where the buoy has come from – it is has several serial numbers on which we’ve been unable to trace,” beach warden Kevin Williams told Burnhamn-On-Sea.com.

Anyone with information about the buoy should contact Burnham-On-Sea.com here and the information will be passed on.
