Travellers finally leave Burnham seafront amid threat of legal action

-

A group of travellers who have been camped on Burnham-On-Sea seafront for three weeks finally left on Friday evening (April 25th).

The travellers were seen driving away shortly after 6pm, as pictured here, after being threatened with court action by the owners of Burnham Holiday Village.

Two caravans had been sited at the front of the holiday park on the South Esplanade for over a week.

It comes after Sedgemoor District Council secured a court order earlier in April to force the travellers from Burnham’s seafront lawns near the Yacht Club.
