A busy route near Burnham-On-Sea was closed by police after a four vehicle accident on Friday evening (September 23rd).
Four cars were damaged in the crash on the A370 near Lympsham at 6.45pm, which temporarily closed the road, as pictured here.
Police at the scene diverted traffic around the accident, which involved a Land Rover, Toyota Corolla and two Peugeots.
Several people were treated for shock, but a police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com there had been no serious injuries.
It comes after a busy day for local emergency services. A seven-car crash also occurred on the M5 near Burnham on Friday at 1pm, with no serious injuries.
