A quiz night is to be held in Burnham-On-Sea this evening (Wednesday) to mark Parkinson’s Awarenss Week.
The fundraising event will be held at the Dunstan House in Love Lane from 9pm-11pm when all will be welcome.
“Donations collected during the evening and the proceeds of the raffle will be donated to Frenchay Hospital to support their research into a cure for Parkinson’s disease,” said co-organiser John Thatcher, who is a Burnham Parkinson’s sufferer.
“We are very grateful to the Dunstan House for holding this event and we hope to get a good turnout,” he added.
