Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club is holding a special open meeting this evening (Sunday) for youngsters to come forward and get involved.
Children who would like to appear on the club’s cart next year are being encouraged to go along to today’s meeting with their parents at 6pm at the Bristol Bridge Inn in Highbridge.
Mark Bishop, Chairman of the club, said: “The meeting is for prospective children who would like to join the club and be on the cart next year to come along and find out more.”
“As well as putting their names down, children must come along with a parent who is interesting in helping us with fundraising or building the cart.”
