Kung-fu club given a financial kick by Burnham-On-Sea Lions

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Lions Club has given a financial boost to a local kung-fu club’s national championship hopes.

Berrow’s Kung Fu group Fei Lung Kwan club has been presented with £150 to help it attend the UK’s national junior championships.

Katia Burnett of Burnham Lions Club told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We have a strong friendship with the club and try to support them as much as we can.”

“They want to attend this year’s Fei Lung Kwan National Junior Championships in Horton, Berkshire and have been doing many different fundraising activities during the year to raise funds for the trip so we were happy to present them with a cheque for £150.”
