A Burnham-On-Sea fire crew was called to Berrow to rescue a horse stuck in a water-filled ditch on Tuesday evening (May 21st).
The animal got into difficulty at just before 6pm in a field off Rosetree Paddock in the village.
“One fire appliance from Burnham attended reports of a horse stuck in a water filled ditch.”
“Crews confirmed the horse was stuck up to its knees in water and they cut away bushes around it to free the animal.”
