A person was struck by a train near Highbridge railway station on Wednesday evening (May 16th), causing a suspension of services.
Britsh Transport Police received a report at 10pm that a person had been struck by a train.
They attended the scene along with police and the ambulance service, who were treating the person for their injuries.
The train involved was the 9.29pm service from Taunton to London Paddington, operated by First Great Western.
