An acoustic music night is set to be held in Burnham-On-Sea this Saturday (May 27th) in aid of a charity set up in memory of town teenager Charley Marks.

The Victoria Hotel in Burnham’s Victoria Street is holding the event from 5pm after the Food Festival for ‘In Charley’s Memory’.

In Charley’s Memory was set up after Charley took his own life, aged 18, in September 2014. The charity now supports and helps hundreds of young people and those affected by mental health.

Saturday’s event will feature music from The Enchanting Lady Garden and guest, The Quintessential Tim Dean, Kev Boley and Friends, and Burnham’s own Nathaniel Topping.

Dawn Carey, the charity’s Operations Manager, said: “We would just like to say how wonderful it is that the Victoria has chosen to support ICM this year. As many know we are always looking for ways to raise money, so it’s extra special when a local business offers to support us.”

“They have lots of exciting things planned for the next few months, starting Saturday with the acoustic night. It starts at 5pm and we look forward to seeing everyone there!”
