A special guided bat and moth walk took place at Highbridge’s Apex Park last night (Tuesday).

Pete Grainger, Sedgemoor District Council’s Ecologist, led the walk around the award-winning park.

The trek focussed on the wide range of nocturnal wildlife throughout the park, particularly bats and moths, however the cold, windy conditions meant the amount of wildlife on show was limited.

Apex Park will also hosting a further wildlife walk on Wednesday July 22nd at 10am when Mr Grainger will be leading a furher guided tour of the park.
