Firefighters from Burnham-On-Sea were called out on Saturday morning after an elderly woman was reported to be trapped under her bed.
The crew was sent to Alstone Road in Highbridge shortly after 11am.
A Devon and Somerset Fire Service spokesman said: “The fire service were called to an elderly female who had fallen out of bed and become trapped under her bed.”
“One crew from Burnham-On-Sea attended and released the female from the bed.”
