Burnham-On-Sea’s annual Beer Festival makes a return to the town this weekend.

Now in its fourth year it will be hosted by The Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street.

The 2015 Burnham Beer Festival will once again attract real ale fans to the town from a wide area and runs over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

This year’s festival features a line-up of mainly local real ales including Yeovil Ales Summerset, Skinners Ginger Tosser, Glastonbury Ales Lovemonkey and the Quantock Brewery’s Royal Stag.

A beer tasting and voting card will be handed out to everyone on arrival and half pint beer vouchers will be on sale.

One brewery will win the 2015 ‘Best beer of Festival‘ award, as voted for by festival visitors.

Live music on The Ritz stage this year includes Rustique on Friday night; Odds and Ends and Daft Folk on Saturday night; New Society Jazz Band on Sunday afternoon; Driftwood and Ash Mandrake on Sunday night, and Rustique ‘Unplugged’ on Monday afternoon.

The Burnham Beer Festival opens at 7pm on Friday 1st May and is then open from midday all weekend. Admission is free.

More information can be obtained from The Ritz on 01278 785365 and a full list of the beers can be viewed at ritzclubburnham.co.uk.
