Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called out last night (Monday) to tackle a car blaze in Berrow.
The fire service was called to Red Road, Berrow shortly after 8.30pm following a road traffic collision.
One crew from Burnham-On-Sea, one crew from Bridgwater and a specialist rescue tender from Taunton attended.
“The crews discovered the vehicle well alight and got to work using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet and extinguished the fire,” said a fire spokesman. “The incident was left in the hands of the police.”
No details on the condition of the driver were immediately available.
