The victim of Sunday morning’s head-on crash in Berrow, near Burnham-On-Sea, has been named by police.
Eighty year-old Bryan Green, from Brean, died when his car, a Honda Civic, collided with a Land Rover Discovery in Barton Road at 10.44am.
Police, fire and ambulance crews rushed to the scene, as pictured here, but they were unable to save the life of Mr Green.
Police have repeated their appeal for witnesses to the crash to come forward to help their investigation.
