Youngsters in Berrow enjoyed a day of fun at the village school’s annual summer fete on Saturday (June 28th).

Large crowds of people flocked to Berrow Primary School’s annual fete, where activities ranging from face painting and singing to dancing and skittles were laid on.

Many of the activities were held inside the school, rather than the playing fields, due to the threat of heavy rain, however the afternoon stayed dry and fine.

Headteacher Heather Hector, who is pictured right grilling sausages on the barbecue, told the event had been a “great success, boosted by a fantastic afternoon of weather”.

Burnham’s fire crew were on hand with a fire engine and the St John team came along with an ambulance for children to explore.
