Highbridge’s former Woodberry Bros and Haines site has been purchased by a Weston firm, it has been announced this week.

Briarwood Products are relocating from their current facility in Weston-super-Mare where they have been trading successfully for over 30 years.

Supporting an agricultural market that is looking increasingly positive, Briarwood Products have seen steady growth over the last few years and are confident that their position will continue to improve.

The firm holds the largest stock of fibre cement roofing sheets and accessories in the UK. It provides leading customer service that is supported by their own fleet of vehicles for fast delivery throughout the UK together with a strong communications network for support and efficiency.

By its relocation to this prominent site in Highbridge, Briarwood Products have now taken the opportunity to not only improve their warehousing facilities but also to expand and further develop their business.

Alan Janes, Managing Director of Briarwood Products, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are very proud to have completed the purchase of this excellent site where our investment and commitment to the local area will enable our plans for continued growth to be realised.”

The site was previously homes to Woodberry Bros and Haines, which went into administration last summer.
