Spring has been on the minds of this group of young Highbridge residents as they planted hundreds of bulbs.
Pupils from Churchfield School recently helped green-fingered members of The Friends Of Apex Park to plant bulbs and saplings in the Highbridge park.
“The Year 2 children from Churchfield School were invited along by the Friends of Apex Park. The children enjoyed finding out about how to plant bulbs and they had a fantastic time, helping the volunteers make the park even more beautiful,” said a spokeswoman.
“They look forward to returning in the spring to see the fruits of their labour.”
