A warning has been issued to Burnham-On-Sea residents to be extra vigilant after a burglary in the town on Friday night (September 15th).

Police say a property in Priestley Way was broken into and property stolen from inside.

The intruder gained entry from the rear of the property in Worston Lane where glass was broken and the keys left in the doors were used to gain access to the house.

One local resident said this has happened several times in the area and warned homeowners “not to leave keys in the lock on the inside, be vigilant and to look after your neighbours.”
