Burnham-On-Sea Bowling Club is looking for new ladies and men to join its ‘social and friendly’ group.
The club, based in St Andrew’s Road, is seeking members of all ages and gender to join its social and friendly group.
“There are many reasons why we think you will enjoy lawn bowls if you give it a try – it’s easy to learn, it’s very sociable and friendly, low cost, and it’s suitable for all ages,” says the club’s Trevor Wellavize.
“It’s a gentle outdoor activity that makes you feel young, it can be competitive at the level you want it to be, our club’s ladies and men play on equal terms, and it’s an addictive sport – in a nice way!”
The club has a seven rink green, together with a club house, bar, kitchen and changing rooms.
