Burnham-On-Sea’s season of free outdoor music concerts will return to the Manor Gardens on Sunday June 8th.
Party In The Park will be held in the Manor Gardens from 12.15pm-5.15pm with an afternoon of free music.
Organiser Mike Murphy from CADS — the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society — says: “We are delighted that Keith O’Connell will opens for us for a welcome back intro followed by 88Straight, Gerry and Ian on piano and guitar, before Smokin’ Guns, a guest band from Gloucester, bring a new brand to the town.”
“Back by popular demand, the Legendary Snake will follow with a real entertaining mix. The ever popular bumper raffle will be followed by our headliners, the super HOVIS, another first timer and hugely popular band.”
“It’s great to get started with this year’s programme with another event for your diary Picnic in the Park, scheduled for July 6th. The Park bar will offer real ale cider wine Coca cola juices soft drinks and water with card services also planned.”
“A range of stalls already lined up and breakfasts, burgers hot drinks and Augustino’s fine ice creams etc are there for all. We are looking forward to meeting again and maybe getting a chance to survey who you’d like to have in the park in 2026 when we plan three events.”
The organisers at CADS — the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society — have been holding the outdoor music events for 31 years. Mike Murphy says: “A packed performance programme is already booked and all we need is fine weather.”
