Burnham-On-Sea Police issue appeal for witnesses after cyclist seriously hurt

Burnham-On-Sea Police have issued a new appeal for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision involving a cyclist in the town.

The incident occurred on Wednesday (7th November) at about 6pm at the junction of Love Lane and Manor Road, near to the Esso service station, as we reported here.

A car was in collision with the cyclist – a man in his 50s – who was taken to Southmead Hospital with serious injuries.

Police say he remains in hospital in a stable condition.

“We’re keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident who may be able to assist us with our enquiries,” said a Police spokesman.
