Burnham-On-Sea Scouts have raised hundreds of pounds during their annual Easter Fayre.

The event on Saturday was well attended by families and supporters, raising over £920.

The well‑supported fayre, held at the Scout Hut at the BASC Ground in Stoddens Road, attracted families and supporters.

Organisers say the event brought in a total of £926.94, with all funds helping to support local Scouting activities.

A spokesperson said: “Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make our Easter Fayre a success. We raised an amazing £926.94. Thank you for your support.”

Visitors enjoyed a lively mix of traditional games and stalls. Children took part in an Easter Egg Hunt, while families tried their luck on the raffle, chocolate and bottle tombolas, and the ever‑popular Human Fruit Machine.

There were also cakes on sale, along with games such as Splat the Rat, Name the Rabbit, and Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar, ensuring plenty of fun for all ages.

The group says it is grateful with the community’s support and is already looking forward to planning future events.
