Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club is celebrating after receiving a funding boost from a mobility company.
The carnival club has been presented with a £1,000 donation by Wilmott Mobility towards the costs of producing this year’s carnival cart.
The club’s Kate Elliott says: “We are overwhelmed by the generosity shown from Wilmott Mobility, and thank them for their continued support. This donation will significantly help the club this year.
Wilmott Mobility is a family run Mobility Shop that covers Somerset and beyond.
Hillview’s 2024 cart, ‘Country Kidz’, came second place overall in the Juvenile category during the seven Somerset carnivals last year.
The 2025 Burnham-On-Sea Carnival will be held on Monday November 3rd.
