Police appeal for witnesses after vandals hit second Burnham shop

-

A Burnham-On-Sea jewellery shop has become the second High Street business in the space of a week to be attacked by vandals.

Caboodle at the southern end of the High Street had a large pane of glass smashed at the front of its shop during the early hours of Christmas Day.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident and asked anyone with information to contact them by calling 101.

It comes just days after High Street clothes shop Peacocks had two windows smashed by vandals, as reported here. That incident occurred shortly after 2am on Sunday December 21st.

Police say nothing was stolen in either incident. CCTV footage of the street is to be examined to see if it holds any information.
