Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called out on Sunday evening (February 4th) to tackle a chimney fire.
One fire engine from Burnham was sent Church Street in the village of Mark at 7pm to reports of a chimney fire at a home.
“On arrival crews confirmed the chimney was on fire and got to work tackling the fire from the hearth using chimney gear,” said a spokesperson.
“Crews extinguished the fire at 7.42pm and left duty of care with the owner.”
