The Patient Participation Group at Highbridge Medical Centre, supported by the medical centre staff, has raised over £100 for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance service with a Christmas coffee morning.
A number of festive treats, including mince pies, were available for a small donation to the life-saving helicopter service – raising a total of £102.
The Patient Participation Group at Highbridge Medical Centre is a volunteer patient representative group which not only has the best interests of both patients and medical practice at heart but, also, has a huge amount of experience.
The group is jointly chaired by John Thatcher, a patient representative, and Joanne Farnsworth, the Practice Manager.
