A lady was taken to hospital with leg injuries after she fell into a ditch in Burnham-On-Sea on Wednesday (September 12th).
Fire and ambulance crews were called to Marine Drive at 4.25pm where the woman had got into difficulty.
A fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to remove the casualty from the ditch, who had suffered a leg injury and fallen down an embankment into a ditch surrounded by trees.”
The lady was lifted from the undergrowth and taken to Weston General Hospital by ambulance.
