A new group that brings together fathers of local children has launched in Highbridge.
The new group for male carers with children aged 0-5 meets fortnightly at Highbridge Children’s Centre.
Dads, granddads, uncles and children came along to the first session, enjoyed some quality time together whilst enjoying a breakfast butty.
Highbridge Children’s Centre will be running sessions every other Saturday morning from 10.30am-12.00pm with the next sesison scheduled for October 12th.
Activities planned for upcoming weeks including a forest school, cooking, rugby tots and craft.
“If you have a child aged up to five, we would encourage dads and male carers to come along and be a part of a friendly group,” said a spokesman.
“All activities are free of charge and siblings up to the age of 7 are welcome too.”
