Burnham-On-Sea’s Carnival Queen is set to open an autumn fayre and fun day in the town today (Saturday).

Somerset Time For Youth, a local youth club for children and young people with special needs, is holding the event at the Baptist Church in College Street.

It will be opened at 11am by Burnham’s Carnival Queen and ambassador for Somerset Time For Youth, Abbi Fear, and will continue through until 3pm.

There will be a variety of stalls, a raffle, tombola and plenty of refreshments available such as cream teas, delicious cakes and other food.

There will also be a children’s disco and magician, with shows at 12pm and 2pm, with entrance costing £1 for children while adults and members of Somerset Time For Youth will be free.

Somerset Time For Youth, which has been successfully running since April 2014, is hoping to raise fubds to support its activities for members.
