Burnham-On-Sea fire crew tackles car blaze in Brent Knoll

Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called to tackle a car blaze in Brent Knoll on Monday night (March 12th).

One fire engine from Burnham rushed to the A38 in the village at 10.41pm after reports that a vehicle had been seen in flames.

“Upon arrival, the crews confirmed one car was well alight on the highway,” a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The crew using a hose reel jet to bring the blaze under control and extinguish the fire.”

The cause was accidental and the duty of care was left in the hands of the police. No-one was believed to have been hurt in the incident.
