Plumes of smoke and flames soared into the sky above Burnham-On-Sea on Monday evening (February 23rd) as fire crews tackled a large rubbish blaze.
One fire engine was called to Players Lane, off Berrow Road, at 8.05pm after a garden fire burnt out of control.
A single hose reel jet was used to tackle the fire, which was brought under control after several minutes. PCSOs from Burnham-On-Sea police were also at the scene, as shown in these photos from the scene.
