Police in Burnham-On-Sea have arrested a man on suspicion of firearms offences.
Officers were called to Maple Drive at 3.30pm last Wednesday (October 7th) and a middle-aged man was arrested.
Police spokeswoman Cath Foster told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.”
“The arrest was made as a result of intelligence received by the local community,” she added.
The arrest is understood to be centered around the alleged use of an airgun.
