Burnham-On-Sea police and firefighters were called to a flat in the town on Wednesday evening (September 16th) after a small blaze.
Crews were called to the property in St Christopher’s Way just before 8.30pm, as pictured here, after residents reported seeing smoke emerging from a flat.
Firefighters entered the flat amid concern for the welfare of the person inside, and found the incident had been caused by food burning on a cooker.
A fire spokesman at the scene said no-one had been hurt.
