The Co-operative Funeralcare officially opened its doors in Adam Street during a ceremony attended by Mayor Cllr Martin Cox and Town Crier Alistair Murray, as pictured here.

The new facilities feature a private remembrance room, an arranging room and large reception – all decorated in warm, pastel colours to make them more welcoming and less intimidating.

Manager Mark Jones who has spent 15 years in the industry and said: “Opening up a funeral home in Burnham is a new venture for The Co-operative Funeralcare. This investment will help us to provide a high quality service to local people, saving families in the community having to travel to our nearest funeral homes in either Weston-Super-Mare or Bridgwater.”
