A new shop has opened in Burnham-On-Sea town centre this week.

The Bed and Discount Furniture Store has opened in College Street.

Owners John and Cheryl White, pictured, have launched the business.

“We’re selling a wide range of furniture at around the half price you’d usually expect to pay – it’s all new stock and we’ve had a lot of interest already,” John told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The couple have recently moved into the area from Paignton, but have been visiting Burnham for many years and wanted to start a new business here.
