Burnham-On-Sea greengrocer Gardiner-Whites celebrates its first year

-

A popular greengrocer shop in Burnham-On-Sea town centre has celebrated its success with customers and supporters this week.

Richard and Jax Gardiner-White, pictured, opened ‘Gardiner-Whites’ last October in Burnham High Street to offer a mixture of fresh fruit, vegetables and food produce.

The couple had been working on setting up the business since last April – exactly a year ago – and therefore decided to mark the milestone with a special event at The Ritz Social Club, as pictured here.

Jax told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a great evening of entertainment with some of our customers, supporters and suppliers to thank them for their backing.”

Gardiner-Whites is a traditional greengrocer with a modern twist. It offers a wide range of high-quality fresh fruit and veg at great prices, plus kitchen essentials like herbs, spices, vegetable oils, specialist teas, and local jams and pickles.

The store also prides itself on being environmentally friendly, with traditional brown paper bags for customers to take away their fresh produce rather plastic bags.
