Two care homes and hundreds of school students have marked harvest time with their own celebrations this week.

330 pupils of St Andrew’s School, plus 30 plus staff and 50+ parents/carers enjoyed a harvest celebration at St Andrew’s Church this week.

“Generous donations of food were collected for the Highbridge Area foodbank and the theme of our celebration was ‘thankfulness’,” said head teacher Ali Pook.

Meanwhile, Burnham-On-Sea’s Frith House and Priory Court have also held harvest-themed celebrations while raising funds for good causes.
