Highbridge’s Apex Park play area to get new safety surface before holidays

-

The play area at Highbridge’s Apex Park is set to have a new safety surface installed before the school summer holidays.

New rubber safety surfacing is being introduced at six play areas to replace the existing surfacing, confirms Sedgemoor District Council.

“The works will cost £47,500 and will be finished in time for the school holidays, so that children can enjoy the play equipment,” Sedgemoor spokeswoman Claire Faun told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The other play areas are in Bridgwater at Stafford Road, Victoria Park, Holford Road, Gloucester Road and Alfoxton Road.
