Crews from Burnham and Weston were called to West Road in Lympsham at 1.40pm.
“Crews removed the hedgerow around the animal. Crews wore dry suits and used flotation devices and strops and lines to remove the pony,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
